I read Golf is not a game of perfect and let me tell you I loved it. It was absolutely perfect for me, because at the time before I read it I was standing over the ball for like 10 seconds thinking all sorts of shit before I hit. Now theres none of that. Just stare at my target, focus and swing. The sad thing is Ive only played one round since I read the book and that was two weeks ago. Drained a 45 foot putt and another 30 foot putt, also saved par with a twelve footer. Really getting into a nice routine also at the range. For those of you who havent read this book, go and get it, you cant go wrong. And I paid 1.35 cents for it on Amazon.com used.

Here's a quick funny story about one of his audio books. I was on a trip about 8 yrs ago to Tennessee and we had the cassette in the player listening to it. He was talking about a tour pro who heard the crowd say ahh before he even struck his putt. We get there and my buddy misses every putt he looks at and as we are leaving he takes the tape out and tosses it down the freeway.

That's what has amazed me so far is that I have made some shots that truly have suprised me after listening to the audio books. These are shots that I have never made before, and now they are happeneing more frequently. Now if I could just get the regular parts of the game to align then maybe I could start lowering my scores

Yeah. I've hit shots - approach shots and putts - that I had no business hitting/making after these books. It's total confidence, because I now know I'm capable of hitting those shots.

Which reminds me: "The Golf of Your Dreams" just came in. That's tonight's bedtime reading.
