I have had my irons for a while now and the grips on some of the clubs have been warn. I was wondering if there are any good grips out there and what would be the price if i had my 3-pw re-griped?

I like the Winn grips myself, and they have different options. I'm not positive about cost because I bought new irons recently and haven't regripped. I'm sure it will be worth it though.

Good luck,
Ryan

Typically costs about $6 per club (grip included). Sometimes $8 if you go for a more expensive grip like a New Decade Multicompound. 13 clubs = $80-100+.

Or, you could buy a few supplies and regrip them yourself.

Another vote for regripping yourself.. The supplies are cheap and it is sooooo easy.

I bet Erik even has a link handy that you can follow to a do-it-yourself site..

I'd be interested to know how to regrip if someone could put up a link that would show what you need and how to do it.

Thanks,
Ryan

I personally like the Winn grips. I've heard people say they aren't durable, but I've never had any problems with durability. They cost like $5 a piece, plus $2 or 3 for labor, so to regrip your clubs should be about 80 bucks.

I know you can get grip kits from golfsmith.com or golfworks.com. Don't remember the pricing for them, but they come with 13 grips and everything you need to re-grip your clubs.

I just had brand new Winn G8's put on at lunch at Golf Galaxy and it was $3.79/club...total was $28. they don't charge labor fees if you buy the grips from them. Best re-gripping deal out there.

Learn to do it yourself and you save money, it's fun and you will be on the road to working on your own clubs. Lengthen shorten take a grip off and reuse it. It's fun and it gets you away from your wife

A good place to start for regripping basics is

here . Buy a couple of cheap grips to get some practice and then have at it.

Not all GG's will do this btw. Most I have dealt with usually charge a couple of dollars. Not sure what their official policy is.

I'm looking at getting my Fusions fitted and regripped with Winn's. Not sure on the stiff or soft grips though. I hit fairly well with the standard grips I have with my irons. Start fading with the 3 iron and driver. So not sure about what I need.
