Yesterday afternoon I took my 6 year old daughter to Golfsmith to get her fit for her first putter and wedge. The associate who helped us was great and really made my girl feel special.

After she hit the wedge on the range for a few minutes she wanted to putt. He took her to the putting green and she hit a few balls. then she drains a 4 footer..... The store was packed and there were about 7 or 8 people on the putting green at that moment... She yells..."YES!!!!! That's just how Lorena Ochoa did it to win last week." Everyone just stopped and started looking at her and grinning. I never even knew she had any idea who Lorena Ochoa was...

That goes into my favorite moments book.

Haha, sounds like you had a good time, but more importantly, it sounds like your daughter had a great time!

Been there....isn't it a great feeling.
We were just at Golfsmith about two months ago and picked up a new set for my 9 year old daughter. She is taking group lessons on Friday nights. The second lesson on the range she hit the 100 yard green.
Huge smile.....

And she was pretty happy also.
