Hi guys, I just got some white golf pride VDR grips on my irons, and I wanted to know if anyone had any good methods for cleaning them? (Prefer if you have tried the method first.)

I've got a special tube that's meant for cleaning grips, but all it really is is a short piece of PVC pipe with plastic bristles on the inside. Just get some mildly soapy water, dip the grip and the tube in, then scrub the grip with the bristles. Works pretty well for removing residues, but I'm not sure how effective it is to visible stuff, since my grips are black.

My bag:

Driver: G10 10.5* w/ Pro Launch Red Reg

3 Wood: G10 w/ Pro Launch Red Reg

18* and 21* hybrids: G10 with Pro Launch Red Stiff

4-PW: Ping Eye 2 Irons w/ Reg GS 95

56* and 60*: Tour-S Rustique Wedges w/ Stiff KBS Tour

Putter: Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport

I have a set with white GPNDMC grips. A damp towl mid-round is all they get. They're not as white as when first purchased, but that's the point. They were too white. If GP had those grips in black on black I'd have gone that route.

    • Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.
    • Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.
    • Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).
    • Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
    • Day 13 - 2026-01-02 One hour short game work. Chipping balls to different targets, compass putting drill with 2-3% slope.
