So cool watching him become a man... sorry...I'm starting to get a little misty......

No need to apologize! I now play regularly with two of my boys and it's awesome when they get past the point of just being our sons and get to the point when they also become one of the "Fellas".

my get up and go musta got up and went..

Yup, and it's just the little things like watching him walk up the fairway chatting and sharing a laugh with Bill or Joe, or seeing another member coming down an adjacent fairway and calling out his name and waving, or patting him on the back and shaking his hand when the money changing is done and we're heading home....

It's the little things isn't it? I like watchin him get out of the car all dressed out in his golf stuff, ready to go. I also find that when it comes to golf, he'll still listen to me :). Last weekend he missed a putt and stomped his foot in frustration, messing up a bit of the green in the process. I put my arm around his shoulder and quietly said "Respect the course and don't ever do that again".He repaired the green and I could just tell that he got it and wouldn't be doing that again.

    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
    • Day 40 (20 Dec 25) - got in a few reps with the 55° wedge - focused on low flighted spinners from about 10 yds in, then wrapped up the session with a few bump and runs chips with the 5i using a putting type stroke.
    • Day 26: did my drill in the driveway for a bit. Feeling pretty decent about the change.
