Dustin 7 v Rory 6.

Re Dustin & majors - he has the ability to win anywhere if he is on. Where his head goes in a major is the big question.

Attended a Q&A; last year with Monty & Retief Goosen, they both thought he win one.

I think he needs to blow the field away in a Major to get his head around it and then he'll win a lot more.

Yeah, this.

By the way, now 3 of his wins are in 54 hole events.  Is that a coincindence?  In this week's case, I think it's not related because it was known the final round was going to be the final round before it started.  But if the other two were rained out after 54 holes then maybe its because he didn't have a chance to have a final round meltdown?

Regardless, he gave himself a few chances to go in the tank and blow it this week, but he didn't.  He kept his head on straight and gutted it out.  Good for him, maybe he's turning a corner mentally.  I'm rooting for him!

The Barclays he won in 2011 was shortened to 54 holes before the tournament started because of forecasts that the New York area was in the path of Hurricane Irene. The field knew the third round would be the last one there, too.

Good ... then maybe it is just a fluke.  I like him and hope he has a big year.
