I was around a little while here, but dropped away and kind of forgot to come back.

But, i remember liking this forum, so i'm back.

I'd like to edit my "What's in the bag" but i can't figure out how to edit sig line.  I've updated my profile, but would like to change the sig line because i do have different gear.

Thanks in advance.

I'm extremely "unfussy" about balls. I'll play anything white and round!  I''ll even play the colors i find.

How do I add something between my username and the Supporter logo? Like ProfessorGAC says "old but straight" how do I do that?

Top right of the page you'll see your screen name in a little white box along with Messages, Subscriptions and some Facebook crap. Click on your user name. This will take you into your profile. Top right of your profile there's a button labeled "Edit Community Profile", click on that. This will bring up a bunch of fields, one of which is "Custom User Title." Input whatever you want there. Except No Talent Assclown. Because I own that.

So you must be "Michael Bolton"? LOL. I like that movie.

For some reason the custom user title is not there. I checked the whole page. Maybe I don't have access yet.

I think you have to become an Established Member before that happens. 25 posts, 30 days of membership. It's just a waiting game.

I will follow up with this one though because I should add it to Supporter privileges.

No worries, I can wait. It's probably a good thing to make people wait so you don't have morons getting access to stuff.  I will be here for a long time to come.

    • Bryson got hit with a 2 shot penalty, after the round, for improving his lie on hole 5.  Here is a post on X, showing how he stepped on high grass when he was looking down his target line.  When they cut to the side shot, you can see how close he was behind the ball.  I think the R&A probably made the correct decision. You just have to be really careful when you are walking in the high grass, around the ball and where you are to make a swing.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
