Woah wait.... theres new NXT's??? Please tell me they wont go the way of the nike ball with awful names like mojo, ignite and ginormus. Either way Ill probably stick to old trusty NXT Tour # 3's

Haven't tried them yet, but once they hit stores I'm going to buy some. There might be a bit confusion because the new NXT Tours are going to be like the old NXTs... the softer of the 2. The NXT Extremes are gonna be the harder ones with less spin like the NXT Tour.

I agree with you regarding some of their naming conventions ... they're a little out there, but I guess Nike is looking to cover the entire spectrum of golfers.

I have two dozen of each, Xavier, if you'd like to buy them at a discount.

But first I need to get some pictures for an article. I haven't hit NXTs in... years? Ever? So I don't know how they are.

Just hit them today!. Bought a sleeve of them and the new NXT tours with the cheater line.

The extreme's are a solid ball. Very hard core, play oh so sweet with irons. Dont let that fool you though, the cover is so soft that I scuffed all three with my sand wedge to the point where there were shavings coming off. Huge distance, amazing spin, soft cover? Sounds like this is the real deal.

New NXT tours won my heart though. They tweeked them ever so slightly. Quite an unforgiving ball if I do say so. The new design loves to catch the air and I had trouble working them. But for off the tee, they are still my ball of choice.

    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
    • I know Dean Snell designed the original Pro V along with a couple of other brands tour balls.  How exactly does the Snell ball have problems.  Did he change something in the design or is a manufacturing error since he cannot afford the unlimited R&D budgets of the big manufacturers to iron out flaws
    • I've played the Tour in both white and yellow.  They play well and seem to hold up pretty good even when running into trees or cart paths.  Right now, I've been trying them against the Bridgestone Tour B RX ball and I really like both.  The Snell 3.0 looks to be a great update to the issues Snell was running into with the previous generation.
