I have a mid 1990's 36v club car. I put brand new batteries in the cart last week cause it hadnt been run all winter and it was running very weak...well, it is still just as slow.....not ever enough power to carry 2 players.....ive had the cart since it was new and its always been slow but its gotten much weaker......Any ideas on why? Thanks!

you need a new battery. if you didn't put on a battery tender over the winter, that battery is pretty much dead. try to charge it up overnight and see the level when charged. your probably have to buy a new battery.

I would disconnect all the cables and check each batteries voltage. Maybe one of your new ones is bad? Odd that it was doing same thing before the new batteries?

My guess would be a bad controller.
