Whispering Woods, for whatever reason, rarely has broken tees on par threes and short holes (for my irons and/or hybrid and/or 3W). I wouldn't mind carrying a few of these little tees (see picture below) in my pockets if only I could find them. The stripes seem to indicate that they're Nike tees (see here ), but I can't find any this short.

Where can I get some tees like this?

I dont have any wooden ones but I have a bunch of short plastic tees that I used for par 3's,hybrids, etc. I pick up a fresh bunch every time I go to England. Right now I have about 500, and being plastic they last a little longer, so let me know if you want some.

No thanks. I'd like to find more of these specific tees.

I never really understood why the short tee is still around. Can't you just push a large tee in the ground further to make it the appropriate height?

In my Ogio Ozone Bag:

No, especially when you're using Zero Friction tees. They're more likely to break, and new tees are tough - sometimes you can't push the tee into the ground without trying a few different spots first. As I said, I'd normally use broken tees, but since I'm first off in the morning most of the time when I play WW, I rarely see any broken tees out there.

Back to topic: where can I find these tees? i have a feeling a bag of 50 or 100 would last a really, really long time.

I can't tell exactly how short the tee is, but I've seen shorter tees with markings on them to ensure consistent height at Golf Galaxy. I would imagine you've probably looked there though...

We don't have a Golf Galaxy around, actually. I'll try the local Dick's and Pro Golf though, I guess.

Let me look around for awhile first at some local stores. I may take you up on that.

The effectiveness of Zero friction tees like the one in your pic is totally fiction! No different than using a wood tee. Don't let marketing fool you!

Once I found one of those little tees, and I drove the ball about 20 yards farther and I actually hit it straight for once. I don't know why the tee made me hit it better, but I would sure like to go buy some of them.

Who cares? We've talked about this elsewhere. I like them because they don't break. Nothing else.

Now back to topic, please.

I agree with Erik on the Zero Friction Tees, they do last (not forever but usually for many rounds).

If someone locates these little tees please post here rather than just send some to Erik...I too use broken tees for par 3's and would like to have some short tees to use instead.

If anyone finds these short tees, please post about it. I'm interested too. I've seen them before but not in a long while. I'd love to use them like Erik and along with Zero Friction tees would cover all my tee needs.

I will keep looking for them also.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but couldn't you just put some regular tees in a pencil sharpener and acheive the same effect?
