Diamana Whiteboard ruined by pro shop?

I had a favorite white board shaft inserted into my 910 D2. Bottom line the pro shop  screwed it up, and ended up breaking the tip. They "fixed" it by adding a 2 5/8 metal extension on the shaft. They did not charge me.....

they ruined the adjustable collar (they had to buy a replacement) and also a new grip since they had to remove the old when adding an extension. I am not the most consistent driver of the ball, but now my inconsistency is worse. B4 I beard the pro, I was wondering how the changes affected shaft performance.

Any help would be appreciated.....heck I could have done a better job myself after viewing instructional videos.

Need to know what your shots looked like before and now.  Swing weight could have changed with the added extension, tip stiffness could be different, both could all affect the way it feels.

What could be having an even bigger impact is your lack of confidence swinging it because you know they messed it up.

My drives for the most part were straight or sometimes with a little fade. They are now abominable both left and right and sometimes straight. I have ordered a new shaft with  an adapter sleeve attached (not from the pro shop). Hopefully this will get me back on track.

What driver did you use before with the white board? Or were you getting worked on with you 910?

I was hitting the Titleist 909 d2 ( w/Diamana white board regular) when I asked them switch the shaft into the 910. The 910 had a UST Mamiya stiff shaft which was a hair too much for me. Since I had been hitting the 909 fairly well, I thought that switching shafts would be good. C'est la vie!

I wouldn't be surprised if the pro shop screwed up the shaft because it went from a glued 909 to a SureFit 910. Also, the two drivers, even though they're both Titleist, are still very different from each other. Sometimes a shaft fits you for one driver but doesn't necessarily fit you for another even if they're both the same brand name.
