Okay guys, here it goes. So I recently reshafted my RBZ driver with an Aldila RIP NV stiff shaft, and Ive been hitting it amazing. I played last weekend and everytime I hit my RBZ it was making a high pitched ping off the face similar to a baseball bat, definitely not normal. I could not hit it to save my life. So I took it to golf USA and had them let me hit it on the launch monitor and had them inspect it. I step to hit and crush it with a nice power draw. 118 mph club head speed, 162 mph ball speed, 3200rpm, 348 yards. Every other drive I hit had similar results (347,321,334, 307). I was shocked. Nothing has changed in my swing this year. Week after week I have been very solid off the tee, but just one day out of the blue my RBZ sounded damaged. At the monitor it sounded like it should. Also, before that terrible day I picked up a dozen Nike 20xi golf balls. Could these balls have been a bad batch? If I recall most of my shots were a little off, but driver was by far the worst. Any ideas?
