With a tournament coming up next week my short game has gone on vacation. I can't get up and down to save my life. I have no touch around the greens. Inside 75 yards I might as well chip it back to 100 yards and take a full swing. I'm losing 5-6 shots a round because of my poor wedge play which was saving me shots just a couple weeks back.

I need drills for anything inside 75 yards that is not on the green.

Play one ball around your practice green.  Toss or hit a ball off the green.  Play it back to a target hole and try to one putt every time.  Hit it into all kinds of lies, uphill, downhill, side hill, deep rough, sand, hard pan.  Play it to different hole locations for short and long approaches.

Your objective is to get the pitch/chip as close as possible and then one putt or at most two putt.

Not something I dreamed up myself, I think it was suggested by Stan Utley.  Assuming I have the short game green to myself I go around the green and drop three balls at a time in various places, some closer, some farther away, then go about hitting them up to the target.  The idea is to give myself a few tries from each distance, but not to just be sitting in one place banging balls toward the cup.  Most of us can zero in on a target sooner or later...  A variation to add putting practice is to hit the three balls then put them out.  For that I have been using my game balls since putting with range rocks is sort of pointless.  (I suppose the same could be said for pitching with them...)  This is something easier to do if you're sharing the practice area.
