Hi,

I moved to Los Angeles from New York about a year ago. I'm not into riding a cart, I always enjoyed walking the courses on the east coast, but I'm having trouble finding courses that allow walking in the LA area. I've played a lot of nice courses in the valley and east of LA near Riverside, but the terrain is too hilly for walking.

All the LA munis allow walking (Rancho, Wilson, Harding, Woodley Lakes). Sterling Hills in Camarillio is a nice course, but they only allow walking on weekdays.

Please let me know if you know of any others.

Thanks!

Pasadena, brookside is not far from harding. I like walking there, nice mountain views, relatively flat. Surprised about wilson/harding. Never walked there, anyway.

A bit of a drive with Rustic Canyon in Moorpark is a pretty easy walk. Great course and inexpensive.
