John Dalys right arm

Most payers have the right elbow down and tucked in. Plus, i keep hearing thats how it needs to be, but how did/does daily get away with it - elbow near 45 degrees and his arm out like a chicken? heck his left arm is bent like crazy too - while he's coiling like a snake? can anybody here analize his swing and how he gets away with it?

Seems as though a lot of tour players have their own idiosyncrasies/compensations/adjustments or whatever you wish to call them. Look at early Nicklaus, Palmer, Trevino, Miller, Casper. They also have a great deal in common in getting to near perfect impact.  My early swing was a high flying right elbow, now it is much flatter and tucked in. It worked pretty good for me then, but I was also younger, athletic, and supple. I can still manage to strike the ball should I try that old swing, but I prefer to try and make my current one work better but with the knowledge that it is not going to get a whole lot better given the time I have remaining.  I am not in competition any more either (other than with myself).
