SG5 Troubleshoot

2 posts in this topic

Used SG5 in a cradle which got wet in the rain and turned itself off during the round. Dried the kit out and bought a replacement battery but no joy. Even when on charge the screen doesn't come on. As you insert the charger the screen flickers and then goes off. Has anyone got any tips or do I just need to buy a replacement ? Pretty lost on the course without it !

Rain has never killed mine. But, if you tried a new battery - it is probably toast.

In the future if an electronic device gets wet, you should immediately pull the battery and leave the device in a plastic bag full of rice for a couple of days to dry it out.

I have had issues with mine turning off during a round - replacement batteries have always done the trick.
