We've all run smack into the dreaded PBFU - just when you think you've gotten a break fate reaches up and slaps you right in the face. I'd like to nominate my buddy Tim for PBFU of the year. Sank a nice 25 footer on #3 for a sweet birdie. On #4 tee (a par 3 around 160 yds) he somehow just ticked the ball with the very heel of his hybrid sending it between his legs for a total distance of about 3 feet. We were all staring in shock when he turned around and started to bend over. We quickly (and vociferously) told him not to touch the ball. To his credit his come back was world class - "Just checking to see if it's mine." Managed a double from there so not too bad. Anyone have one to share?

There is a guy in my league just like that.  He will birdie a hole then on the next have a colossally bad drive and triple the next.  He thinks he is way better than his 18 handicap and always brags about his Titanic drives (one of those 300 yard fantasy players).  Funny thing is, when I play in his group his drives are the same as mine (220 - 230).
