OK I know this has probably been gone over 100's of times but here I GI anyway. My current driver is a ping g10 9° with a stiff graffaloy blue shaft. I generally hit it about 225-250. But the problem lies in that I hit my taylormade r11s 4 wood with Padilla rip regular shaft about 220-225 yards. This makes me think that there is some untapped distance with my driver. I don't have any swing speed numbers but I generally hit my 7 iron about 160 if that helps any.

Really there is no good answer except that there are a lot of good quality clubs out there that different people report good success with.  My "advice" would be to go make yourself a PITA at the local Golfsmith/Edwin Watts/Golf Galaxy/Dicks (whatever's available, and as many of them as you can) and try different clubs.

I think the fittings you get at any of the retail stores are going to be less useful than if you can get fitted by a pro fitter with an outdoor range AND launch monitor, so my final choice would be dictated by what options I had in that regard (if any).

Well where would a good place to start at looking for a driver? Higher degree loft? Then shaft wise higher kick point? Or do I stay with a lower kick point shaft. There is a local Edwin watts but no fitters that I know of in several hundred miles ( I live in south ga if anyone knows of 1 close by).

Not much loft and that shaft probably is not a fit ... not a big fan of graffaloy for some reason... and today's balls are high launch, low spin so your golf ball may be dropping out of the air from lack of spin, especially if you have an R flex fwy. If your 7i is 160 carry?, it sounds S flex. If you're talking 160 total ... could be S or Firm. Just guessing here...

I'd jump on LMs at a store and compare your current setup against store demos in higher loft drivers with mid-kick point shafts.

Go to your Edwin Watts.

    • Getting in before this topic is locked. ”I hit it fat”. - Maybe his weight is too far back. ”My weight is not too far back”. - Okay, the video will help. Video: Weight looks too far back. ”I fixed it because my parents are rich”. Oookay. Good luck. OP seems a lost cause, so what we can learn from this topic (not that there aren’t enough examples out there) is that weight forward is important and don’t always trust what the person is saying. It may not be correct, be it trolling, ignorance or lack of knowledge.
