The range I go is pretty bad for yardage markers. You can't tell how far you hit it lol. I would love to know the exact yards I hit it without spending a fortune on a range finder. Also would be great to know my club head speed and other specs.

I know there is an app called Golf MTRx but as far as I am aware it only measures hip movement?

Are there any out there that have anything for clubhead speed or how far you are actually hitting it ect

Thanks

There is a little radar thing that measures your BALL speed and computes it into a yardage. I have found ball speed is more useful than swing speed.

There are apps, but you'd have to buy the equipment to use the app, such as SkyPro, 3Bays GSA, or Swingbyte (the cheapest). I've used the 3Bays GSA and the distance is accurate enough (give or take 3 yards), but the unit is $199.

If I were to pay for either a range finder or swing analyzer than measures how far you hit the ball, I would go for the range finder. You can use it both on the course and on the range.

The other way is to somehow find a range that has Trackman, Flightscope, or GC2, which is probably the most accurate you can probably get in terms of all swing and ball metrics.

Ryan

Yeah seems a bit pricey to figure out your yardage. There are some cheap range finders on youtube I might pick one up just to measure how far I am actually hitting.

I will try the ball speed on that app as well thanks.
