Sounds like good things are coming for you for sure. I have played tournament golf for 3 summers in a row now so I am a little more in the swing of things. Pun intended. Good luck this year, definitely sounds like you are ready to win.

That's my main goal this year- scoring average is just a biproduct. I am playing 32 competitive rounds and really making an effort to jump into any individual stuff I can find. If you want to play in an unbelievable tournament, come to St. Louis for the Metropolitan Open. We get a lot of hooters tour, mini tour guys and Scott Langley has won the event before. Long, Tough track but its a really nice course and a really great set up. Its up to half amateurs, half pro's with a 13,000 first place check for the pros so it brings in some solid players. Cut after 2 days.

That sounds pretty amazing. I qualified and made the 2 day cut last summer for the Indiana Open, which had a first place prize of $7000, but I blew up after making the cut. It was the first 4 day event I had played in. I was so focused on making the cut that I used up all my energy the first two days apparently... 78,73,83,84 at 7125 yds and 74.6/140... I played with a top 100 amateur the first two days and he was only two shots up on me after those first two days. Needless to say I fell apart and he didn't the last two.. but it was great to at least keep up with him. I didnt get too down on myself despite the 83-84 being my two highest rounds of the year... to qualify and make the cut in my first attempt was very cool. I will do better this year.
