Hit both well I need more launch I feel. Have Di11 wilson steel shaft now normal round 90-94. But have problems with launch I personally like higher ball flight I cannot get these to hold a green. Also going with graphite shafts because of wrist and hand injuries. Thanks look foward to your input.

I tend to shoot low 90s and I just got an adams A12OS set.  I spent several hours in the simulator at Dicks with a surprisingly competent and helpful employee trying out every set of irons they had under $700.  Turns out the A12OS hit the most consistently for me.  I was really surprised the salesman was willing to encourage such a cheap set after I was trying so many more expensive sets but its hard to argue with a consistent 4H that outperformed every 3I I hit.

I bought the A12OS irons last year.   They are very forgiving in almost aspect of the game.   Remember they are game improvement irons.   Agreed they aren't high end Pings or Titleist but they are very good.    I like them.

I highly recommend the A12OS. I have been using this set for 2 years, and though I have been tempted to replace them with something else, I haven't found another set of irons I hit any better than these. I normally shoot low 90's with a SS of 90-92 mph, and I have regular flex graphite shafts throughout the set. I went to the graphite shafts after suffering an injury to my wrist, and these made a world of difference in reducing vibrations/shock to my hand and wrist.  These clubs launch the ball high (for me) and land soft on the green, and I like the 7-gw performance around the greens.

I don't have any experience with the Callaway's, but understand they are great club as well.

Try the Adams super s irons. You might get a little more lift. And the hybrids in this set are awesome. The kbs shafts don't hurt either

    • Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.
    • Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
    • Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
    • Day 281 6-10 Full swing, fast, getting low point ahead of "towel".  Working on flow during this seems to help.
