What is good game ($) to play in a scramble?

We have a team of four playing in a scramble tournament (play the best ball till ball is holed). Is there a betting game that we could play within our group?

I don't think so because you're playing the best shots of the foursome, so there is nothing to compete against.

Maybe you can throw in $20 for who the "MVP" of the group turns out to be. Or play $1 closest to the hole on the approach shots or $1 make on the putting greens.

Never really thought about it. Most shots used. Closest to the pin. Something like that? Really only works if you're all roughly the same skill level though. Or better yet, skip the damn scramble, make a donation to the charity, if that's what it is, and go play golf! :-D

Like @mvmac said, you could bet on closest to the pin, but since it's a scramble, you could do it on every hole. Might make things interesting on a par 5 second shot.
