Is there a way to do a search of the site that gets to to a specific post in a thread.  i.e. Suppose I wanted to find posts that mentioned: wrong ball mahan and didn't want to look at around 500 posts to find it it in the US Open thread-

Search the thread.

Open the US Open thread and then use the "search this thread" function.

Thanks...never noticed that option.

Follow-up- when you put in "mahon wrong ball" in the search this thread" box, it seems like it pulls up all posts that have ANY of the search words.  Is there a way to do the search so that it only pulls up posts with ALL the words?

I'm not sure, but I would try putting the phrase you're searching in quotations marks.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
    • I moved a few posts that were here to here:
    • I think that's mostly about lowering the CG. 🙂
