I think you are absolutely correct.  The problem is that we have been spoiled and our perspective has been skewed by the incredible level of consistency we saw for 13 years between 1996 and 2008 from Tiger, particularly if you make allowances for 1998 and 2004, the two swing change years.  Rory may be streaky compared to that, but that doesn't make him streaky in any real sense.  Not being as consistent as the most consistent guy there ever was is not a good way of measuring streakiness, IMO.

Yes, this is exactly what I tried to convey but you did it more articulately. TW's made cut record will simply never be broken; everyone who has ever played professionally would be considered inconsistent or even streaky by that standard.

Tiger just ripped a 3 wood down 18 into the wind 300 yards. I'm not sure what the game plan was today but he literally hit his driver today like an 8 handicap.  Nike needs to build him a franke

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story.
