This could actually be great for Kisner or other players who haven't won majors or even had much experience winning on Tour. Post a low score early to avoid any "omg, I'm leading a major on Sunday" jitters and then sit back and wait.
Then again, this could be all be for naught if the rain ruins things today as well.
Even when it was at Joseph Papp in preview it was a hard get. Lottery. I guess if I tried harder I might have gotten tickets but just could not justify those prices I've been watching Broadway shows forever and have done the watch a show 1,345 times before. The legs of this show and the degree of popularity are stupid insane and lost count of people who planned trips to NY just for the show. I find the values the show espouses and the jockeying for tickets contradictory but I'm happy for its success. Lot of doubters it had.
Try to make some right arm only swings and you'll probably get a pretty good natural feel for the right arm's action. As far as the actual mechanics go, there's certainly a lot of literature out there on the right arm's specific functions, like it's varying folding and extending rates, or or how much it pronates or supinates (forearm roll), wrist bend measurements throughout the course of the swing... stuff like that.
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me authenticate these irons. I've searched for hours on the internet and can't find any data, other than at the PGA equipment resale website (which had very little information). I'm curious to know if they were production Tommy Armour clubs, or perhaps a limited beta run... Any help offered will be greatly appreciated! Mahalo from Kona.
I'm no golf teacher or expert but I firmly believe the role of the right arm/side is to push. It has to be in balance with the pulling of the left arm/side . .but to say that the right arm is just passive and just gets pulled by the left side wouldn't jive for me . . but it is, I think, pretty "feel" based . .ie . .one guy might feel like he's more pulling, another like he's more pushing but the result could be the same.
