Considering the way Tiger and Stricker have played when grouped together the last few weeks, it would make sense to team them up for fourball and foursomes in the Cup matches. Its no secret that Tiger has struggled in non-singles events in Ryder Cup/Pres Cup, but Stricker may be the perfect partner for him. What do you think????

First off I am jumping on the Stricker band wagon if one already started. I really hope the best for him down the stretch, as he is the only guy at the top to have play all the final events. I beleive if he does pull it out and takes the FedEx Cup it will send a rude of waking to the top dogs and the rest of the tour players that Tiger, Phil and others can be beat one way or another.

I would not mind seeing Stricker and Woods playing together, I saw an interview with Stricker saying if you can elevate your game when you get paired with Tiger you should not be out here.

Stricker seems like a nice guy, and the pairing would probably be awesome. Especially if Steve-o can card a few dueces like he did on hole 8 yesterday!

It probably would be a good pair. They seem to be very comfortable with each other and I'm pretty sure they are good friends.

Didn't we all say that about Jim Furyk last year? I wouldn't mind seeing "Stricks" and Woods together. Yeah, I think they'd be a good team. But I think Stricker and just about anyone right now would be a solid team.

I dont agree with this pairing. I do think that this would be a great pairing but I dont agree with it for this reason. These two guys are definitely playing the best golf right now out of everyone. So why not put them with two other guys each so that they can pick up the guy who maybe isnt playing his best golf right now. It hasnt worked in past Ryder Cups either.

Based on the playoff system, it doesn't work that way. They have to play together based on their ranking. I don't like this pairing because it's hard for me to pick one over the other. Stricker is a hell of a nice guy, it's hard not to pull for him.

Did not know that, thanks....I think they will play well together, and your right Stricker is an extremely nice guy and what a competitor.

I think people are getting cofused that this thread is about the President's Cup and that they do not have to play together there-I really liked woods with Furyk-maybe put Stricker with Mickleson as Stricks is so steady right now Lefty could go for everything.
