PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) --- The PGA Tour released its 2014-15 schedule on Wednesday with a few moving parts.

The Farmers Insurance Open has been moved back one week to Feb. 5-8. That allows the Phoenix Open to end on Feb. 1, the same day as the Super Bowl in Phoenix. And for the first time in 13 years, the West Coast Swing will end with the Northern Trust Open at Riviera.

The Match Play Championship moves from the end of February to the first weekend in May, right before The Players Championship. The Wells Fargo Championship will be held after The Players.

Also, the Quicken Loans National hosted by Tiger Woods will move from late June to two weeks after the British Open , and right before the Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship .

Moving Tiger's event is a bit weird. That means he'll be playing 3 weeks in a row, culminating in a major. I wonder if he had much/any input on that.

I wished they moved the Canadian Open to a less shitty spot in the schedule. I live 10 minutes from the course.

The Phoenix Open should be pushed to mid or late February which would eliminate frost delays which seems to happen almost every year.

I don't like having the Superbowl and Phoenix Open in the same weekend especially when they are both in AZ.

Don't like them moving The Match Play to May. I thought it was at a good time in the season already. Now you're putting it back to back with The Players where players will have to go all the way across the country to play. Don't know why they just didn't keep it with The West Coast Swing.

I think they kind of had to because it moved to San Francisco.

The biggest loser in the schedule shakeup is Quail Hollow. The week after the Players has been dead since it moved to May, and with the Match Play slotting itself the week before that, it's going to be impossible for the Wells Fargo Championship to draw the kind of field it has become accustomed to.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver: '07 Burner 9.5° (stiff graphite shaft)
Woods: SasQuatch 17° 4-Wood (stiff graphite shaft)
Hybrid: 4DX Ironwood 20° (stiff graphite shaft)Irons/Wedges: Apex Edge 3-PW, GW, SW (stiff shaft); Carnoustie 60° LWPutter: Rossa AGSI+ Corzina...

    • Yeah I’ve tried it but I don’t feel very comfortable doing it like that. Isn’t there like a website where I can do it so it’s safer??
    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
    • Let's kick off the 2026 Masters talk with… a look back at 2025 (coming soon):
    • Wow, so Europe named Luke for a third term. Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Who will the U.S. name? I hope not Tiger Woods.
