Does anyone have any experience with the new Tightlies fairway wood?  I am thinking it would be a versatile 5 wood.

Doesn't look a whole lot different from the old TL fairway woods, except the design touches are clearly 21st Century.

I tried some at a spring demo day. Like all low-profile FWs, they get the ball up nicely.

One caution: If you use them for a tee shot , don't tee them up too high. Check this out on the practice range.

I used a competitor's low profile FWs for several years. I found I got better results if I fluffed up a tuft of grass and set the ball on top of that. Off a wooden tee, I sometimes got pop ups with low profiles.

      Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15.       Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
