Taylor Made R7 CGB Irons

I am looking for a new set of irons. Taylor Made CBG irons are very expensive to buy new, but see quite a few reasonable prices listed in ebay. Can anyone provide feedback on these CGB irons? Are they good for a high handicap golfer?

Very easier to hit. Did not really like the feel of them though (wasn't a really solid feeling of compression, more 'click, clack'). Would much prefer a set of Callaway's to be honest. Go to a demo day though. The only way you'll ever know whether you like them is if you hit them.

Any thoughts on the new R7 CGB Irons for 2008 that look to be released in early November? Any changes beyond cosmetics from the 2007? Just asking since the price on the 2007 is looking really good now.
