It appears to be a success so far. 149 girls in several states. The question is would you pay $150 for a caddy? I might think about it for a bachelor party or something but not on a regular basis.

My only problem with golf is that I am usually standing too close to the ball............ after I hit it.

Is there some kind of link? Don't know what it is. Some kind of "hire-a-hot-chick" for a round of golf thing? A bunch of those out there. How does this one differ? Did someone actually invest?

I can't imagine they will help any with slow play.  Prices aren't bad.

Nothing new/unique. One of many such services. Did someone actually invest in it?

My wife was reading up on them last night and it looks like these girls are not just for looks. They actually have to know the rules and how to properly caddy. The owner puts them all through classes. I still think it's a joke for the price.

The Caddie Girls - There is a big market out there for this sort of thing. Basically, this has been done in hair salons, restaurants, and so much more. While there’s a clear gimmick here, at least the ladies all seem to know their golf. It’s just not our sort of thing, so we wouldn’t invest based on that alone.

We’ll at least give them some credit for know how much is too much. Kevin O’Leary wanted to take too much of the company in 50%, and while we would’ve done the deal with him for 40%, he wasn’t going to budge. Good move. No deal.

Matt Ginella was using something like this at a GC in Vegas. They were models and knew the course, breaks in greens and etc except it was $250 per girl....

I wonder how much for the happy ending.... okay I had to say it.....

I'm disgusted at the lack of balls/hole/shaft jokes in this thread! Close it down already!

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
