Ball position Question

I stink at finding videos/pictures to help me out so I will try to explain. Start with a 7-iron. Look at the club, see how if you sit the sole/bounce flat on the ground the shaft naturally leans forward. Do the same with a PW, notice the shaft lean is greater.  And then grab a 4-iron--the shaft is more vertical. If you take the same stance with your hands in the same position, the clubs will naturally shift their position on the ground relative to their bounce/shaft lean.  I let that difference determine where the ball is in my stance.  I'll keep looking to see if I can find something better to explain it.

Where do you have your ball in your stance for these clubs: Driver inside front heel. Fairway woods/hybrids mid Long irons mid Short irons mid open wedges mid open more

Driver: left heel

3wd : rather the same just inside left heel

long irons just a little more inside about half a ball

i move the ball a little more to the middle on every iron.

my wedges will be just left of center.

This is what I think I do:

Driver - Big Toe of Front Foot

Fairway wood-  one ball inside left heel

Irons- 2 balls back of the left heel

Wedges- three balls back of the left heel
