paintfill on my grandpas old clubs

For anybody interested, back in the summer, I found a set of my grandpa's old clubs at his house, so I decided I redo the paint for him. I think they turned out pretty well for my first paintfill. Now if I could only find some vintage RAM grips...

Not bad at all! What method did you use for the paintfill on these clubs? Did you use a paint pen, a needle, something else?

Looks good. You could easily sand off the slight over runs.

I just used a toothpick. The hardest part was being patient enough to let each part dry before I moved onto the next part.

Should I just use a high-grit sandpaper?

Yes high grit around a piece of wood to keep it from getting into recessed areas.

Wipe over it gently with a piece of paper towel with some acetone on it. That will take off any unwanted paint and leave the paint you want in the recessed areas. I've done quite a few clubs this way, works great and won't risk scuffing the metal.
