I changed my driver shaft to regular from stiff due to what I found out at a golf shop reading.

However I have not changed my 3 and 5 wood and 3 and 4 hybrid from stiff to regular.

Should there be any ill affects of not changing the above from stiff to regular or would it be Ok to stay with the stiff in the 3 and 5 wood and the 3 and 4 hybrid.

Probably not. A lot of people play different brands of golf clubs. There is no standard to flex. So you can have someone play an STIFF driver shaft at 60 grams. Then you go to a 3-wood from a different company, they have their own golf shaft. Lets say 70 grams. You can have that say regular and it might actually be a stiffer flex because it is shorter and weights more than the driver shaft.

So really, unless you are seeing any adverse effects on the course, then the answer is probably not. There is no general right or wrong answer to this, it all depends on your own golf swing.

    • Wow, largest ever 36-hole lead at the Masters. Seems good. I don't really have much to add, but I'm having a great time nursing a cold by watching this tournament.  I doubt Rory fumbles this one, but you never know. As a fan, I hope he can close this out with two rounds to go.  I saw a funny comment somewhere where someone said Bryson should try to 3D print himself a green jacket.
    • Day 234 4-10 Blending hip/chest rotation backswing work and wrist arch in downswing. Pause at the top and slower swing. Recorded and hit foam balls.
    • Day 2, April 10 2026.  After watching today's excellent Masters broadcast, I have hit 18 balls, one at a time, each after doing the pelvis limiting drill.
    • Day 33 (10 Apr 26) - Played in the club Friday shootout with a slight twist as the course was setup for tomorrow’s local “Masters” one day tournament.  The pins were in some slippery places and the greens firm and bouncy.  Overall made for staying the process all the more important especially on the greens.
    • Rory up by six - makes me wonder if the powers that be will adjust Augusta’s moving day setup to be uber tough or uber getable to get a few closer.
