I have a California De Mar and it has a few nicks in it. My question is, can the nicks be fixed and how long does the Custom Shop usually take to get you your putter back? I've heard they take a long time. I'm in no real hurry, but I don't want it taking 2 months. I was also thinking about getting my name engraved. Thanks in advance.

I got a putter done a few years back that was pretty nicked up; when it came back, it looked brand new, so I don't think that you'll have any issues there. As far as turn around time, I think mine took just over a month.

I have a Newport Tei3 and a Newport Tei3 long neck that I was looking to get refinished. I went on the custom shop website and it was "meh"...and over $200 for a straight refinish with a headcover. I heard alot of good things about BOS so I went on their site and it was less than half the price plus there were a variety of finish options. Might be something to check out. I'll be sending both mine to BOS.

Here's another option if you're interested.  He's in Arlington TX and has been in business a long time.  His prices are fair...I wouldn't say cheap but he definitely doesn't over-charge and his work is top shelf.
