You can eat 1 meal a day or 8, if the calories stay the same, the results will be very similar. I haven't eaten breakfast in a year and a half and it's helped me get fit and stay fit. It's worked out great for me and many others who do intermittent fasting. Not saying one is better than the other, you have to do what's best for you. Skipping breakfast doesn't cause high blood pressure, heart attacks, obesity, eating more calories than you burn causes those things.

People that skip breakfast will get hungry mid morning or at noon and make unhealthy choices because they're so "starved". It can result in a feeding frenzy, usually on carby, calorically dense foods.

There could be a number of reasons why breakfast eaters tended to weigh less. People who are into health have generally been brainwashed into the idea of ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’. As a result, people who tend to exercise, be more aware of calories, eat healthier foods and have more of a vested interest in how they look will also eat breakfast. It is more likely that it is these other things which make them weigh less, and it has nothing to do with the fact they eat breakfast.

I definitely agree it isn't exactly a necessary meal. However, I'd have a really tough time hitting all my macros if I skipped breakfast even though it is my least favorite meal of the day. I hate eating when I wake up but without it I'd really have to crank up the other four meals.

    • I've been putting whilst looking at the hole and it's definitely helped my distance control
    • I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers
    • is it though?????? "Millions of fans"?????
    • Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.
    • So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
