I don't hate Taylormade products like some....but i'm definitely not a fan of white golf clubs. But I could almost overlook the fugly white and red paint scheme on the aeroburner fairway based on the way it performed at the store. Granted the club is probably an inch longer than any other three wood i tested. But it was easily 8-10 further than anything else, extremely forgiving, and produced a nice higher than usual flight. If you're looking for a 3w to get you more chances at those par 5's in two - i suggest trying this thing. It's ugly but it really works.

Why has TM stop making 4 woods?

Here is one of the shots testing the aero burner. This shot was off the deck not off a tee. It's really an impressive club

I don't really trust those numbers. 41 yards of max height? 270 yards with 158 MPH ball speed?

They're close but I still don't know. 25 yards is a lot of difference in distance.

I did notice that the simulator was reading unusually high for some launch angles. for example your Traj optimizer shows a height of 57 feet while the simulator i was on shows a height of 41 yards. big difference there. not sure what that's about. However the height and ease of launch is what i liked most about the club not necessarily the distance.

Hit this club in my local American Golf store yesterday. Averaging about 230 carry which for me is very good. My i20 averages around 215. Going to try and convince the wife I need to bag this bad boy.

Didn't hit the FWs, but I did hit the Aeroburner and R15 hybrids at the St. Louis Golf Expo. The sample clubs had just arrived to the TM rep, and I got to take the plastic wrap off the head and grip for both clubs I tried.

Aeroburner 4H had stock Matrix Speed RUL-Z 70 R-flex shaft. Aeroburner had good feel - not too light - and launched the ball fairly high. (Current Adams V4 in 4H is 60 gr. shaft, feels a bit light  - I have to avoid overswinging).

R15 3H had stock Fuji Speeder 77 Evolution S-Flex shaft. R15 had solid/harsh feel - and launched all shots low. (Probably not best shaft for me).

This is just what I could see on the ball flight - no launch monitor at station, so I have no data.  (Expo was indoors, outside temp 20ª F.)

Focus, connect and follow through!
