I've been Playing Golf for: On/Off for over 20 years. Started when I was 5 yrs old.

My current handicap index or average score is: Between 80-100

My typical ball flight is: High push/slice.

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: High push/slice, fat shots,

and quickness from the top of my backswing causing all sorts of mischief. :-)

Putting together a few video's now. Editing. Thanks.

Hi there. So i took video and uploaded onto my work laptop. I only have the iPad at home. Id like to get a Mac to make this a bit easier but i just bought a SkyTrak so im a bit tapped out. Can i keep this up as a placeholder/reminder? Or we can take it down until this Saturday? Work is nuts so i have little time to do fun stuff on my own. Im okay either way. Thanks for checking up on me :-) Matt

Started working with Brian Mcgrew on evolvr online. I've posted a few videos and Brians given me great coaching: Backswing too long Hip bump forward for driver Not enough shoulder turn Right arm gets stuck behind my back. So I've been working on his drills and making the changes slowely. Once I figure out how to post a few vids on here, I'll do so. Thanks all. Matt

    • Day 259: did mirror work while watching TV. Trying some wrist feels while trying not to lose the lower body stuff.
    • Day 3 (5 Apr 25) - long day with setup and rehearsal for band’s church service gig tomorrow.  Got home to hit a very chippy wedges (from about 10ft to out to 40yds or so).  Focus was simple - feel the bounce and quiet hands.
    • Day 187 - 2025-04-05 Got my time in today. Hoping to get a little more time in tomorrow, though. May get there early.
    • Day 14: 4/5/25 Putting through 50 mm gates.
    • While on vacation in Punta Cana a few weeks ago I played with rental clubs, Mizuno Pro 245's with KBS Tour Lite steel shafts. Surprisingly, I was blown away, not only by the distance, trajectory and dispersion I was getting but also about how soft and buttery they felt. It got me thinking.... IT'S TIME FOR NEW IRONS! Just yesterday, at my local Golf Galaxy, I tested them again side by side with the JPX Forged (recommended by the Mizuno rep who happened to be there) which also felt pretty good. Not as buttery soft as the 245's but they did produce slightly better numbers on off-center hits. Also, I haven't played with forged clubs with steel shafts in 10 years thinking I was getting too old and that I needed the lighter weight but these clubs with that shaft felt really, really good. So that's my long and drawn-out intro to my question: Does anyone here at TST play with either of these clubs and if so, what's your opinion?
