So, for slower swing speeds, a "flexier" shaft would be recommended.

In a word. Yes.

Swing = Stacked and On Plane when possible.

In a word. Yes.

Think of the club as a whip...slower swing speeds wont be able to whip at the ball with a stiff shaft...therefore a regular flex would produce that whipping effect...faster swing speeds will whip a regular flex shaft a bit too much which is not efficient, so stiff/xstiff is better.

I think a more accurate word than efficient is consistent.

I'm surprised that a stiff shaft wasn't recommended. I assume for swing speeds below 90MPH, a stiffer shaft would be better.

Huh? What do you mean Willis?

Hahaha. That was an interesting picture in my head. So, for slower swing speeds, a "flexier" shaft would be recommended.

It's not exactly that simple. It's a combination of clubhead speed and tempo. A quick tempo puts much greater stress on the shaft. My driver speed at impact is about 105 and climbing, but I have a very smooth transition. I can play either. When I was mid to high 90s with a quicker tempo, I needed Stiff shafts ( at least in Dynamic Gold). As my transition got slower and better, I needed less stiffness, yet am gaining speed.

Yeah that was my next step actually. Not necessarily changing my shaft but even getting a decent, Taylor-Made set of clubs. The clubs i have now were really just to see whether i liked the game and to see how long the hobby would last...

Changing to another brand with "newer technology" won't solve the problem if the shaft is still not right for your swing. You may not need to buy a new head, just install a new shaft with the right flex. It's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

During my down swing, due to tensions in my left arm, my left arm is overpowering my right arm, result in no rotation and closing of club. Hence, there are always slices. Now, using 'golf magic ring' to stablise my swing and reduce the tensions. But now!!. my driving flight path is too high. result in lesser distance. think will have to lower my tee height.
I was thinking of getting either the Nike Sasquatch Sumo or Ignite as you have there..How does that perform for you?

Sorry! Been away for a while.

Yeah the Ignite is great, really solid through impact and I love the noise when you really pure it! As I said though I probably need a stiffer shaft so most of the time, for me, it goes a little right. The distance is great, and it's not un-workable either. Plus, as it's an older club now it'll probably be around for cheaper!
