Anyone have the 2014 or 2015 versions? Looking for some input on them. Not much to go off of online as far as reviews go so I thought I'd ask here. I have a cart bag that is quite heavy and I'm looking to get something lighter on the side. It's either between this or the Ping 4 Series or Ping Hoofer.

This is the 2015 version I'm looking to get:

:titleist: 913 D2 w/ Oban Kiyoshi Purple :ping: G25 3 Wood w/ Graphite Design Tour AD-DJ6 :titleist: 913H 21* w/ Diamana Blue :ping: G25 4 - PW :vokey: SM4 Oil Can - 52, 56, 60 :cameron: Studio Select Newport 2 :golflogix: :bushnell: Tour V3

I have that bag as well as the Ping Hoofer 14 way. I find both to be excellent. I like the legs a little better on the ping...a bit more sturdy but either bag suits me just fine. They both ride easily on a cart as well.

:ping: G25 Driver Stiff :ping: G20 3W, 5W :ping: S55 4-W (aerotech steel fiber 110g shafts) :ping: Tour Wedges 50*, 54*, 58* :nike: Method Putter Floating clubs: :edel: 54* trapper wedge

You have the ultra lightweight and the ping hoofer 14 way.. mind I ask why both new bags that were released around the same time?

I like to have my bag be of the same make of my clubs. I have the titleist 714 AP2's and shortly afterwards I scored a nice set of Ping S55's for a real good deal. I was having a tough time deciding between those two clubs but when I saw the great deal on the Pings I had to get them.

    • Day 35: 1/14/2025 Okay, Got to the range first thing this morning. I had a work meeting get cancelled and so I decided to film my swing. It was early, and it was cold... very cold. But I filmed my swing anyway. Which felt like I was swinging it about half as good as I had been swinging yesterday after work.  Can't decide, maybe filming the swing on an "off" day is a good thing. Maybe it's better to film on an "on" day. ... Who knows.
    • Okay, this video came out a little wonky.  It was early this morning, overcast, so the light was kinda bad. It was also real darn cold. I posting this as a "Here's where I am" kind of thing. Not where I plan to end up.    Here's the down the line view... same thing as above. This is where I am, not where I want to be.
    • I'm sorry. I may have been unclear. I was just mocking the youtube comment section and mocking the folks who believe the revealer is real physics. That's all.  We know, That's why we are mocking the people who believe in "the revealer".  I'm just kidding around.
    • Youtube comments are not generally something I give a whole heap of weight to. The "working against you" thing is kind of their whole schtick. I don't think it's unreasonable for them to say that. It's obviously possible to putt well with a regular putter. Putting comes down to can you pick the right line, get the speed right and then can you start the ball where you want to. If you do those things well, then you'll putt well (hardly groundbreaking I know). Would a lie angle balanced putter help you start it on line? I don't know. I know lots of people have opinions about it. I can imagine that it might help some people and there are plenty of cult followers who think it does. I don't own one and I'm not sure I'm likely to either, but I go have a mess around at the PGA superstore every now and again and it does feel a little different for me. My putter has about 45* toe hang and when I last got fit the fitter told me that was a good level for my stroke. That's very different from a LAB so perhaps not surprising it feels different.
