How do you warm up?

I'm retired and my group plays early during the week. I usually get there early enough to ride to the 9th tee and play the hole in as my warm up. Lot's of courses wouldn't allow you to do that but I've been a member forever and our rules are pretty relaxed. Obviously I wouldn't do that if a group was coming up to play the hole. Lot's of days I simply putt a few and do some stretching as my warm up.

:callaway:  Rogue 3 & 5 woods, Rogue X 4 & 5 hybrids

:cobra:  King snakebite grove wedges 52 & 58*

I wake up warmed up when it comes to golf. :beer: This morning at 9am when I walked out side it was already 90*F. 105*F when we walked off the 18th. In reality, before a round, time permitting, I will swing a 7i,, and give the practice greens a visit. One thing is for sure. When I do warm up, the last club I warm up with will be what ever club I am using on the first tee.

      New Maxfli Forged Irons - $800!

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.

      Day 467 - 2026-01-10 Practiced at Pinehurst every day I was there, and before Junior Elite this morning I got fifteen minutes of backswing checks in the mirror in.
