Since this a golf site: People who pride themselves in following [U]every [/U]rule in the golf rules handbook, and believe not doing so, ruins the game ... yet do not hesitate to speed away from the golf course and could not pass a Breathalyzer test ...

Patients who try to talk to me while I am listening to them with a stethoscope.  I have the earpieces in my ears... I can't hear you!  Additionally, I am essentially listening to you with a low-tech microphone so its super loud when you talk... unintelligible but super loud.  That is all.

Just put up a sign Doc.. THEY will listen and you will hear..
