Slicing 3 wood

I used the search function and while I found similar threads, I wanted to be more specific. I maybe get 1 or 2 fade a round, usually a block off the tee once a round. If anything, I struggle with a snap hook. So it blew my mind when I sliced 3 balls off of the fairway and off the tee yesterday with my 3 wood. These were BAD slices. I teed the ball up higher on the last few holes and hit them with a high draw. So obviously having the ball on the ground or teed up very low is causing me to do something in my swing. I would guess that I am subconsciously afraid of topping the ball and must be hitting down out to in. Should I just swing without worrying about hitting it thin and it should sort itself out? The reason I ask is because I am playing a round tomorrow without being able to hit the range. Thanks.

Give it a couple of holes and see what happens. You can always go to your 4 iron.

I would definitely swing with the intention of hitting a good shot.  If you end up hitting a couple bad shots in a row, then switch it up.

Yeah the best answer is likely don't pull it out of the bag tomorrow isn't it? ;)
