I've been Playing Golf for: 12 Years

My current handicap index or average score is:13

My typical ball flight is:Right to Left or Straight...and it tends to be a lower ball flight.

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Thin iron shots.

I am just looking for some feedback on my swing...I am trying to figure out how I can start to compress the ball a little more and get some more distance with my irons.  Currently I hit my 9i 125, 8i 135 and 7i 145, etc.

Welcome to the forum. A face on video would help us see your impact position better. It could be something that is relatively easy to adjust.

I would check out this thread on posture. You have a good amount of lower back arch.

I would work on keeping your heady steady. You get a lot of vertical movement. That is primarily caused by you losing your posture. You stand up in the backswing.

I would work on getting less arch in the lower back. Then try to maintain the forward tilt so your head doesn't go so much up and down.

Also I would look at this thread on a centered pivot to help get the feel about being able to turn with a steady head.

Thank you for the feedback so far...I will look at those links that were suggested above and try to add a face on video in the next day or two as well!

Will also add this. Left side (left shoulder, left hip) has to bend down much longer on the backswing.

What you want to see from dtl. Shoulders and hips turning at a right angle to the address inclination.
