Also, a yellow dot on a ping is a custom adjustment. We need a ping guy to chime in and tell us what that adjustment is so it does t get u fowled up from the beginning.

OP, go to PING.com and look at the static fitting chart.

Today's yellow dot is 1.5* upright lie. If you're ~ 6' tall with normal length arms you're probably ok, but check out their site - I am not a fitter.

Or, because you're just starting out and whacking balls at the range, the club nuances aren't much of a factor. Save all that for later on.

Gambling is illegal at Bushwood sir, and I never slice.

Wow. I'm impressed with all this science.

The chart and the inflight thing on ping.com tells me I should get an orange, which has a lower angle than black. Yellow has a higher angle than black.

I'll take the club to a range next week and see what happens. My swing foundation isn't that bad for the club to screw me up since I started swinging early on as a child. I just never liked it much back then.

Hi, What is the thumb pad? Am I supposed to hold the club at a certain angle? I just hold it at where the grip is and let the club naturally find its angle.

You can find out your grip size here http://www.golfpride.com/fit/ Where your fingers touch when you close your grip on the club. If your grip size is too small your fingers will dig in too much. Too big and they won't reach.

Swung the new old club at the driving range yesterday. Very easy to use I must say compared to many other clubs I've swung before!
