USA's coverage of the PGA Tour is horrid. Commercials every 5 minutes, and the most insipid, boring, bland commentary. Ever. UGH!

Couldnt agree more - whats new ? All those breaks drive me crazy ! (and we lose half of them as our commentators talk through most that you US people get inflicted with).

Roll on Peter Alliss,Ken Brown and Sam Torrance commentating on The Open for the BBC

Probably going to go to St Andrews and go watch on the Saturday and Sunday though - its about a 9 hour drive for me but a friends got a camping ticket for 8 days so at least i got a bed for the night.

St Andrews is a pretty small town and when the golf-cavalcade rolls into town every hotel,bed and breakfast etc within 50 miles or more is full.

For you US chaps it would be like holding your superbowl in some backstreet town that normally has 1500 inhabitants.......
