Anybody have thoughts on the Srixon W-504 wedge?

I'm going to start playing with my Eye2+ S wedge again and am looking to add a mid bounce 58* wedge. I was leaning toward a Mizuno MP-T but am intrigued by the price (cheap right now) and look (dark gunmetal) of the Srixon. No shops around carry Srixon, so I'd be buying blind and would appreciate any info and input.

Anybody play these or tried these? Willing to offer a comparison to other forged wedges, say, Mizuno or Callaway? Generic comparisons to Titleist Vokey Black Nickel or Cleveland 588?

Thanks, in advance, for the help.

Srixon/Cleveland...

Since this model is a year or two old and produced prior to any Srixon/Cleveland affiliation, I would say the difference is as significant as the difference between a Srixon wedge and any other. Also there is the forged vs. cast distinction.

If you're simply making a sort of rhetorical reference to the recently announced deal headlined on the site, I apologize for sounding like a humorless bore, and thanks for taking the time to read the post.

The WG-504 forged wedges are very good. You don't or shouldn't have to grind the sole, and you don't get a lot of glare from the sun. The spin is good. The ball will usually stay where it hits.
