Tiger made a very nice run this week at the Cialis. My two favirot golfers are Adam Scott and David Toms. But Tiger has impressed me with his latest play. He has been very sharp lately. I think his swing is coming around. Congrats Tiger

Well, Eldrick just keeps showing signs that he is indeed back. He has played very consistently as of late, and he will definitely be the favorite once the British Open rolls around in a week and a half. He dominated there in 2000, and he could do it again.

The difference is the others aren't intimidated of him like they were in 1999-2002. I think Tiger is just as good now as he was then. But Furyk and the others aren't going to back down from the challenge. They used to give up before they even started. Now, they just worry about themselves and get the job done.

With that being said, Furyk was never one of the ones to play bad when Tiger was on the prowl anyway. He went toe to toe with him before, so I'm sure he felt more comfortable being in the lead at the Western Open.

Anyway, I went off on a tangent there. Sorry about that. But you are right, Tiger definitely has his game on right now.

I agree that Tiger is looking good out there lately. I hope to see the old Tiger back. Somehow it just seems natural that he dominate on the tour. I guess that's because I thought watching golf was boring for many years and then Tiger came along and made it exciting. Mostly I watch the LPGA because it is much more entertaining, in my humble opinion, but when Tiger is playing well, the PGA rocks.

I don't know if shooting -2 is "being scared" or if it's just a ho hum round. Tiger's little charge coincided nicely with Furyk's three birdies in a row. Had he surpassed Furyk, and had Furyk felt the need to press a little harder, we could have seen a bit of a collapse.

Basically, Tiger came on at the same time as Furyk pushed ahead, and then Tiger fell back. There wasn't very much pressure on Furyk for very long. Had he felt it longer, the result may have been different. Tiger really needs to stop making those late-round mistakes. It's these kinds of things that make me say that he's still "close." His putter and his sand wedge let him down... the three-putt the result of a bad drive (in the rough, which made the next shot unpredictable) and the bunker shot the result of a bad tee shot also. So, fairways and greens, Tiger. You're still just a wee bit off - but that's compared to you, not to other pros.

i DEFINITELY agree with u there

i've begun to stop expecting him to make clutch shots sometimes he messes up, sometimes he surprises me until he can stop these late-round mistakes, second place is gonna start to taste more bitter every time
