Well, my Thrash Talk this week deals with guys who have won a major championship and done nothing since. I am talking about Ben Curtis, Shaun Micheel, Rich Beem, etc. Here are a few quick questions to get it started.

1. Are One-Hit Wonders Really Good for the PGA Tour?

2. Do You Pull For the Top Players To Win Majors or the Longshot No-Names?

1. Are One-Hit Wonders Really Good for the PGA Tour?

In exactly one of two instances only: 1) a local guy makes good or 2) someone like John Daly.

2. Do You Pull For the Top Players To Win Majors or the Longshot No-Names?

I would have rather had a Woods victory at the Open if you get my drift. I would have rather had a Retief victory. I would have rather had a Singh or Mickelson victory - and I don't particularly care for Phil.

Instead, I simply have to hope that Michael Campbell makes good on his promise and becomes a more-than-ordinary player.

I think the one hit wonders are good for the t.v. but when it comes down to michael campbell or tiger woods, I am going to root for tiger every time...

I mainly pull for Adam Scott or David Toms because they are my favirot players. but like I said I am going to pull for the Tiger, or Vijay, or Els (NEVER MICKELSON) to win before I pull for the no-names.
