I have an original 2 ball putter CS (center shafted) and am looking at upgrading to a newer model.  I like how it sets up and I feel the CS gives me an edge (and more confidence to boot.)  I have heard a lot about the Black Ice series and other models.  What is YOUR favorite 2 Ball Putter and WHY do you like it?  Thanks.

I had the Odyssey Backstryke 2-ball for the first three years of my golfing. I initially liked it for the forward press it built in and for the very soft feel. I think it's more helpful for a beginner finding his stroke. I've graduated to the Versa jailbird with a Superstroke grip and I make a better stroke and line it up better.

I've never gamed the odyssey version but it is such a legendary design there are now other renditions available from other manufacturers.  The 2-ball alignment is one aspect of the original, but there is also the half-circle soleplate and elevated alignment plate with a hollow in between.  This detail raises the CG and allows you to scoop the ball up off the green from the toe or heel side (on most).  I use a Wilson Vizor M2 that is the same general concept but with their own alignment instead of the balls and a very responsive insert in the face.
