At my lessons, I usually get there a few minutes early grab some balls and warm up.  Same thing today - I went out there and started hitting some 9irons.  My teacher walked up and said he noticed my legs were getting a lot better - what club was I hitting?  I said "9 iron" . .and he looked really impressed for some reason.  He watched me hit a couple more and then grabbed my 9iron out of the bag and said "that's your 6 iron".

edit  - arg - just realized this is not about golf instruction directly so should probably have gone in the main forum - sorry about that!
